What an awesome time we have had the last two days. We have had such a good time fellowshiping with Milton, Larea and their kids. It has brought back such good memories of the Boatwright family on the mission field. The two children Payton(15) and Preston(12) are in public school and are doing great. Payton is a classical pianoist. Preston plays the cello. They remind me so much of our kids when we lived in France. I know how well our kids have done and I can see Preston and Payton doing the same.

We traveled to Kaunas and met with the group studiing the Bible together last night. They are all college students. One young man Marius who has great potential to be the pastor of the group. He is so sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We had pizza together and shared our stories. Marius's wife is a believer but the other three are still seekers. We really bonded with these young people. They seemed so open but we didn't press them to make a decision to accept Christ. This morning Marius called Milton to ask that Pastor Mike could share the Gospel message with them tonight. Pray, Pray, Pray for tonight.

We visited an old fort in Kaunas that was used by the Nazis in WW 2 to kill 50,000 Jews. Sobering all over again. Among the exibits was a list of young people brought there from France. Their names ages and addresses were on the list. I saw a name from Nancy were we lived for 5 years. I recognized immediatly the address of this victum of man's inhumanity to man. It was a powerful direct rememberance of what we had seen in France of this horrorable time in human history.

I returned to Vilnus with Milton to attend a meeting of his church tonight. He wanted my assistance as a former missionary. It seems a bit strange to me to be a consultant for such an experienced missionary. They have been here 14 years now. I'll do my best. God is good. We will do whatever it take to encourage our friends here.

More later,
